Mild Steel Wire Rod Coil is a versatile, low-carbon steel product, widely used as a raw material in wire drawing and fastener industries. Its combination of strength, ductility, and weldability makes it an essential steel input for construction, automotive, and engineering applications.

Mild Steel Wire Rod Coil

Mild Steel Wire Rod Coil is a semi-finished hot-rolled long steel product, supplied in coil form, produced from billets in a wire rod mill. It has low carbon content (0.05–0.25% C), making it ductile, weldable, and easily formable.

These coils are used as feedstock for manufacturing wires, fasteners, nails, welding electrodes, springs, ropes, mesh, and reinforcement products.

Uses of MS Wire Rod Coil

  • Construction: Binding wires, fencing wires, welded mesh, nails.

  • Automotive & Engineering: Bolts, nuts, screws, springs.

  • Electrical: Welding electrodes, wire ropes, armored cables.

  • General Fabrication: Chains, rivets, cold-heading quality wires.

  • Agriculture: Barbed wire, wire netting, tools.
