AISCO Group integrates iron-to-steel manufacturing, advanced metallurgy, TMT processing and rebar engineering to deliver high-performance reinforcement solutions for modern infrastructure.

Located in Odisha, AISCO leverages the region’s strategic access to iron ore and established steelmaking ecosystem. Under the ore to core® manufacturing philosophy, the production chain is integrated from sponge iron and steel melting through billet casting, rolling and controlled TMT processing, enabling greater control over chemistry, mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy and product consistency.

Our Rourkela manufacturing facility, developed with German technological collaboration, incorporates advanced steelmaking and quenching technologies designed to produce high-strength, ductile and durable reinforcement steel.

AISCO applies controlled metallurgical and thermomechanical processes throughout production. Precise control of chemical composition, temperature, rolling parameters, quenching intensity and cooling conditions enables the engineered development of the required combination of:

  • Superior bend and rebend performance

  • Consistent dimensional geometry

  • Enhanced fatigue resistance

The controlled TMT process develops a high-strength tempered outer structure with a ductile ferrite-pearlite core, delivering the strength–ductility balance required for demanding structural applications.

AISCO maintains rigorous process control, laboratory testing, chemical analysis, mechanical testing and dimensional inspection across the manufacturing cycle to support consistent product quality.

Standards & Structural Performance

AISCO reinforcement products are manufactured to applicable Indian Standards and project specifications, including IS 1786 and, where applicable, requirements associated with seismic-resistant reinforced concrete construction under IS 13920.

For international and specialised projects, product specifications can be engineered to meet applicable international standards and customer requirements.

Advanced Rebar Portfolio

AISCO provides a growing portfolio of engineered reinforcement products designed for conventional, high-rise, infrastructure, industrial and demanding structural applications.

Product portfolio:

  • Carbon Steel TMT Rebars — Fe 500D and Fe550D, subject to applicable production and certification

  • Corrosion-Resistant Rebars — 500CRS and 550CRS, engineered alloy-based reinforcement for enhanced durability

  • Stainless-Steel Rebars — SS500 and SS550, for highly corrosive and specialised environments

  • High-Strength Reinforcement Steel — engineered for strength-critical structural applications

Available diameters range from 8 mm to 40 mm, subject to product grade and manufacturing configuration.
